United Nations Fellowship New York
Mission of the United Nations Fellowship New York: To provide a first-hand experience to students about the work of the United Nations from a broad Christian perspective at the Commission on the Status of Women.
Chrisitan Council International recognizes that the UN broadly supports many ideals that are inconsistent with Christian beliefs. Lobbying at the UN is for the purpose of providing a Christian perspective on negotiations that deal with matters of life, family and freedom.
Candidates should be:
- Interested in learning about the conservative lobbying at the United Nations
- Able and willing to interact with a large amount of people over the course of a week
- Have motivation to learn about issues that affect life, family, and freedom
This fellowship will allow you the opportunity to interact with leaders in the pro/life, pro/family, and pro/freedom world. We will be arranging meetings with leaders from other organizations that we work closely with for an opportunity to network.
You will get the opportunity to attend side-events of CSW to hear from world leaders about their perspectives on issues relating to women and girls today.
