Sylvia Mesesi is as an intern the Policy and Advocacy Officer for CCI in Kenya, Africa. Residing in Nairobi, Sylvia is currently pursuing a degree in International Relations and Diplomacy at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. Her role at CCI involves significant responsibilities aimed at fostering and protecting African cultural and social values, focusing on Life, Family, and Freedom. In her capacity as CCI’s representative in Africa, Sylvia is spearheading the establishment of the CCI Pan-African Network of Members of the National Parliament (CCI PAN-MP) from various African countries. This network aims to create a robust platform for advocacy and policy development to uphold and promote African cultural and social values. Sylvia also engages in online monitoring and reporting of high-level meetings at the African Union (AU) and United Nations (UN) and maintains a comprehensive database of CCI’s strategic alliances across Africa.
With a strong interest in international relations and human rights issues, Sylvia brings passion and commitment to her role, working to ensure that African cultural and social values are represented and protected on both regional and international platforms. Her work not only strengthens CCI's presence in Africa but also contributes significantly to the broader goals of the organization.
