The conservative right-wing Fratelli d'Italia party has won the elections in Italy. Party leader Giorgia Meloni thus becomes Italy's first female prime minister. In the previous elections in 2018, this party received only 4 percent of the vote. Now over a quarter of voters have chosen her.
