Today it became clear that the Christian conservative think tank and lobby organization Transatlantic Christian Council (TCC) is legitimately entitled to ANBI status. On July 8, the cassation option at the Supreme Court for the tax authorities expired unused. The ANBI status applies retroactively from the entry of the application as of February 7, 2013. After a grueling 2.5 year legal battle with the tax authorities, TCC was proven right on all points.

THE HAGUE. AFTER A BATTLE OF TWO AND A HALF YEARS, THE TAX AUTHORITIES HAVE TO DESIGNATE THE CHRISTIAN LOBBY CLUB AND THINK TANK TRANSATLANTIC CHRISTIAN COUNCIL (TCC) AS AN INSTITUTION FOR GENERAL BENEFIT (ANBI).

The tax authorities have denied TCCs request for this status early 2013. The judicial process lasts now already for 2,5 year.
